Areas We Serve Around Tampa Bay
Wil Flores, P.A. was founded in St. Petersburg in 2015 by attorney Wil Flores, a Pinellas County native. The firm has one physical office, on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Clients from other Tampa Bay communities work with the same attorney and staff, by phone, by email, or in person at that office.
Location matters in a legal case. Pinellas County shares a judicial circuit with Pasco County, while Hillsborough County, home to Tampa, is a separate circuit with its own courthouses and local procedures. Where a crash happened or where a charge was filed affects which court hears the case, so one of the first things we look at in a consultation is where your matter belongs.
Office location
St. Petersburg, Florida
St. Petersburg is home base. The office is in west St. Petersburg (ZIP code 33707), open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Clients who live or work in the city can meet with the firm in person, and many injury and criminal matters arising in St. Petersburg are handled in Pinellas County courts.
Pinellas County
Clearwater, Florida
Clearwater is the Pinellas County seat, and many county court proceedings take place there. Because Clearwater is in the same county as our office, the firm regularly assists people with injury claims and criminal cases that arise in Clearwater or in north Pinellas County. The firm does not have a Clearwater office; meetings take place at the St. Petersburg location or by phone.
Hillsborough County
Tampa, Florida
Tampa is across the bay in Hillsborough County. People who live in Tampa are sometimes injured in Pinellas County, and Pinellas residents are sometimes injured or charged in Hillsborough County. The firm can discuss Tampa-area matters with you and will tell you during the consultation whether it can take on your case given the type of matter and the court involved. The firm does not maintain an office in Tampa.
Greater Tampa Bay
Other Tampa Bay Communities
The firm also works with clients from communities throughout Pinellas County, as well as from Pasco County, Bradenton, and Riverview. If you are not sure whether your location is within the area the firm serves, call the office and ask.
About the attorney
Why Contact Wil Flores, P.A.?
Wil Flores was born and raised in Pinellas County. He earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law, later completed an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Stetson, and opened Wil Flores, P.A. in St. Petersburg in January 2015.
- Direct attorney access. You can speak with the attorney handling your matter, not only intake staff.
- Injury and criminal experience under one roof. Some situations, such as a crash that also leads to a traffic or DUI charge, involve both areas.
- Insurance coverage investigation. In injury cases, the firm looks for every policy that may apply, including your own uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage.
- Clear communication. You will know what stage your case is at and what decisions are coming.
- Bilingual support. A Spanish-speaking member of the team is available to help clients who prefer to communicate in Spanish.
Wil Flores is a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Pinellas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Learn more about the firm and its team, or read what clients have said.

How the Firm Can Help
From the St. Petersburg office, the firm handles two kinds of matters. Each link below goes to a page with more detail.
Personal Injury
Claims for people hurt through someone else's negligence. Not every injury leads to a valid claim; fault, available insurance, and the effect on your life all matter.
Criminal Defense
Representation for people charged with misdemeanors and felonies, from the early stages of a case through negotiation or trial.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about the office, the areas the firm serves, and what to expect when you call.
Call 727-800-6239Where is the Wil Flores, P.A. office located?
The office is at 5120 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33707. It is the firm's only office location and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Does the firm serve clients outside St. Petersburg?
Yes. The firm works with clients throughout Pinellas County, including Clearwater, and with clients elsewhere in the Tampa Bay area, including Tampa, Pasco County, Bradenton, and Riverview. Whether the firm can take a particular case depends on the type of matter and where it is being handled.
Can I contact the firm about an accident in Clearwater or Tampa?
Yes. Call or send a consultation request and explain where and when the accident happened. Florida sets strict deadlines for injury claims; for most negligence claims arising after March 24, 2023, the general deadline is two years, and some claims have different deadlines (see section 95.11, Florida Statutes (opens in a new tab)). Contacting a lawyer early helps protect your options.
What kinds of cases does the firm handle?
Personal injury and criminal defense. Injury matters include car, motorcycle, truck, rideshare, pedestrian, and e-bike accidents, slip-and-fall and negligent security claims, nursing home negligence, and wrongful death. Criminal matters include DUI, misdemeanors, felonies, domestic violence and battery allegations, and traffic violations.
How do I request a consultation, and does it cost anything?
Call 727-800-6239 or use the online contact form. Initial consultations are free. For personal injury cases, the firm works on a contingency fee basis, meaning no attorney's fees unless there is a recovery; the written fee agreement explains how fees and case costs are handled. Criminal defense fees are discussed during the consultation and are generally paid in advance.
What should I bring when discussing a potential injury claim?
Bring whatever you have; missing documents should not stop you from calling. Helpful items include the crash or incident report number, photos of the scene and injuries, the other party's insurance information, your own auto insurance policy, medical records or bills, names of witnesses, and any letters or settlement offers from an insurance company.
What should I do if I am facing a criminal charge?
Speak with a criminal defense attorney before discussing the facts with police or investigators. You have the right to remain silent and the right to request a lawyer. Avoid talking about the case with others or on social media, keep copies of any paperwork you received, and attend every scheduled court date.
Does contacting the firm make me a client?
No. Calling, submitting a form, or having a consultation does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after the firm agrees to take your matter and a written engagement or fee agreement is signed.
